SweetTea journal celebrates all that is great about Northwest Florida, from Pensacola to Tallahassee and everywhere in between. With its informative writing and remarkable photography, the award-winning magazine captures the essence of this distinctive corner of Florida. And like its namesake, SweetTea journal is Southern in all the best ways.

Our new issue covers a variety of interesting topics sure to entertain and inform. Writer Bruce Vanwyngarden follows serious fishing aficionados at Panama City's famous Billfish Tournament while Melanie McManus travels all over the Forgotten Coast to profile the inaugural Plein Air "paint-out." And we are especially pleased to welcome Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Paul Goldberger, architecture critic for the New Yorker, to the magazine as he takes a look at Northwest Florida's fascinating style of vernacular architecture. As for the visual aspects of SweetTea journal, a highlight is Clyde Butcher and Allen Rokach's stunning photo essay about the cypress-filled backwaters of the Dead Lakes near Wewahitchka. And for a fun, literary coda, be sure to read author Daniel Wallace's amusing take on the phenomenon that is the green flash.

Look for our next issue in the spring of 2008, filled with many more stories and pictures that reveal the special people and places of Northwest Florida.
